Base Salary
$210k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and evolve the architecture of authentication and authorization systems.
- Design and build secure identity workflows, including OAuth 2.0/OIDC flows.
- Lead the design of shared platform services and reusable engineering patterns.
- Drive improvements to application performance and scalability.
- Enhance developer productivity through faster CI/CD workflows and reusable tooling.
- Establish standards for observability and operational readiness.
- Partner with teams to protect sensitive customer data and meet compliance requirements.
- Lead complex technical initiatives from architecture to production operations.
- Make pragmatic technical decisions balancing security and performance.
- Mentor engineers and lead architecture and design reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with complex production systems.
- Strong experience with authentication and authorization systems.
- Deep expertise in backend and distributed systems.
- Strong technical judgment and security fundamentals.
- Experience leading large, multi-component technical initiatives.
- Operational mindset with experience in Kubernetes and CI/CD.
- Ability to influence and mentor other engineers.
- High degree of ownership and curiosity in technical challenges.
