Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of AI/ML engineering solutions on GCP from design through production support.
- Own architecture and technical strategy for scalable, secure batch and streaming data and AI platforms.
- Design and build resilient, performant, and cost-effective data pipelines using GCP services.
- Implement MLOps across the model lifecycle, including repeatable training, deployment, monitoring, testing, and rollback.
- Deliver and optimize LLM and RAG solutions, including evaluation, prompt engineering, orchestration, document processing, and agentic AI patterns.
- Establish engineering standards covering coding, reviews, testing, documentation, observability, governance, and operational readiness.
- Embed security, privacy, auditability, data quality, lineage, metadata, access control, and retention practices.
- Lead production operations through SLOs, alerting, incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
- Partner with Product, Data Science, and business stakeholders to define requirements, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
- Define and implement organization-wide engineering governance frameworks and best practices aligned with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- At least 12 years of software engineering experience focused on engineering practices and governance.
- Proven experience in application architecture and data management.
- Familiarity with AI technologies and their application in banking or financial services.
- Hands-on experience delivering LLM and RAG solutions and optimizing response quality, latency, and cost.
- Experience with LLM orchestration frameworks, prompt engineering, evaluation frameworks, and RAG document-processing workflows.
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL with pgvector, including vector and hybrid search, metadata filtering, and indexing.
- Working knowledge of FalkorDB or equivalent graph databases, including graph modeling and query patterns.
- Strong hands-on Redis experience for caching, throughput improvement, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with relational database management systems.
- Experience delivering GenAI solutions, including agentic AI and multi-agent orchestration, from prototype through production.
- Technical acumen in cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, stakeholder-influence, and organizational-change skills.
