Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, enhancement, release, and support of Mesh platform capabilities.
- Provide technical leadership to engineers and developers while ensuring architecture, coding, security, quality, and delivery standards.
- Design and implement APIs, microservices, integration flows, automation scripts, and platform utilities.
- Drive CI/CD improvements using Bamboo, Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions, Artifactory, and related toolchains.
- Operate and improve cloud-native platforms across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, API gateways, service discovery, and containerized runtimes.
- Lead incident resolution, production support, problem management, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
- Automate recurring operational work using Python, Shell, or equivalent automation frameworks.
- Monitor platform health, performance, availability, capacity, and SLA compliance.
- Participate in design and code reviews, release planning, deployment governance, and production readiness assessments.
- Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, deployment guides, operational procedures, integration specifications, and knowledge articles.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 10+ years of overall IT experience with strong hands-on experience in integration platforms, API and microservices engineering, DevOps, and cloud-based platform delivery.
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, integration architecture, API development, middleware, or cloud-native application delivery.
- 2+ years of experience as a lead engineer, platform lead, technical lead, or in a similar role managing technical delivery and guiding engineering teams.
- Prior banking or financial services experience is highly preferred, especially in digital banking, payments, integration platforms, or enterprise API ecosystems.
