Responsibilities
- Interpret stakeholder requirements and incorporate feedback into designs and solution fixes.
- Participate in system design, architecture, project estimation, and technical documentation.
- Develop, implement, debug, and maintain software products, services, and components.
- Conduct code reviews, apply coding standards, and handle routine pull requests.
- Create test plans and configure testing procedures to identify and resolve defects.
- Respond to support requests during on-call rotations, troubleshoot issues, and deploy fixes under guidance.
- Maintain and improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience and a bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience developing or implementing web-based or mobile applications.
- Experience with system design and architecture for product components.
- Experience debugging and troubleshooting software issues.
- Experience conducting code reviews and applying coding standards.
- Experience planning and executing software feature tests.
- Experience responding to support requests and deploying fixes.
- Experience using software developer tools for code creation and maintenance.
- Preferred: 3+ years of work experience with a bachelor's degree or more than 2 years with an advanced degree.
- Preferred: at least one year of experience building and testing enterprise-scale web services.
- Preferred: at least one year of experience on client-facing project or technical teams.
- Preferred: experience integrating feedback into designs and solution fixes.
- Preferred: experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
