Responsibilities
- Validate runtime components including device initialization and lifecycle, command dispatch and execution queues, kernel scheduling, and synchronization.
- Test memory allocation, data movement, DMA behavior, memory leaks, and resource utilization.
- Build and execute latency, time-to-first-result, throughput, and pipeline-efficiency benchmarks.
- Perform stress, concurrency, multi-device scaling, profiling, and bottleneck-identification tests.
- Develop end-to-end tests for model execution workflows and maintain smoke and regression test suites.
- Build automated validation pipelines and performance dashboards.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in systems software or runtime validation.
- Strong C++ programming expertise and object-oriented programming fundamentals.
- Experience with Linux system programming.
- Strong Python and C/C++ debugging skills.
- Strong understanding of runtime systems, scheduling, execution models, memory hierarchy, DMA, and parallel systems.
- Preferred: experience with profiling and debugging tools such as perf, gprof, or VTune.
- Preferred: experience with AI or accelerator runtime stacks.
- Preferred: exposure to multi-device or distributed systems and tracing or performance analysis frameworks.
