Base Salary
$197k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop front-end applications using a test-driven development pattern.
- Own the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Collaborate with developers experienced in distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Deliver robust cloud-based solutions with digital product managers.
- Mentor engineering community members and participate in technology communities.
- Develop cross-browser and cross-device experiences using JavaScript, Angular, React, Node, HTML/CSS, TypeScript, and Java.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 4 years of professional software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud required.
- Preferred: master’s degree.
- Preferred: 7+ years of experience with JavaScript, React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, or Java.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- Preferred: 1+ year of people management experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.

- Annual salary varies by location: $197,300–$225,100 in McLean, VA and $215,200–$245,600 in New York, NY; the role may also receive performance-based incentive compensation.
