Responsibilities
- Implement automated testing environments and software harnesses across the robotics stack for model training, serving, evaluation, and Hardware-in-the-Loop and on-robot testing.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines, staging environments, release workflows, and regression checks for ML models, software services, and physical robot hardware.
- Monitor engineering productivity metrics and build tooling that removes bottlenecks, reduces team friction, and improves the ML workflow from data ingestion through robot deployment.
- Integrate automation and AI tooling for engineering productivity, root-cause analysis, and synthetic edge-case testing.
- Create agent-testing systems involving 2D and 3D games, physics simulators, graphical result visualizations, leaderboards, and robot algorithm testing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, CI/CD infrastructure, or engineering productivity.
- At least 2 years of experience building and maintaining automated testing frameworks and release pipelines.
- At least 2 years of C++ and Python programming experience.
- At least 1 year of experience with large-scale model training, serving, and evaluation systems or production ML workflows.
- At least 1 year of experience with embedded systems or Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.
- Preferred experience in robotics or automation systems, heterogeneous architectures such as TPUs, GPUs, and edge devices, custom Linux environments, and AI tooling for engineering productivity and software quality.
- Ability to collaborate with research, hardware, and operations teams in a geographically distributed and changing environment.
