Responsibilities
- Design and implement complex frontend software solutions and platform capabilities.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architectural decisions across teams and initiatives.
- Develop and maintain shared frontend capabilities, reusable UI components, design systems, and engineering platforms.
- Drive modernization, engineering best practices, quality, accessibility, security, performance, scalability, and technical debt reduction.
- Mentor engineers and support technical growth across teams.
- Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering stakeholders to deliver business value.
- Use, evaluate, validate, and govern AI-assisted development solutions across planning, implementation, testing, documentation, reviews, and knowledge sharing.
- Establish practices for integrating AI into the software development lifecycle and create structured technical specifications for specification-driven development.
- Design and maintain internal AI-powered engineering tools and reusable capabilities that improve frontend productivity and developer experience.
- Contribute to platforms that generate applications, components, tests, and documentation from structured specifications.
- Influence the organization’s AI strategy and improve software delivery efficiency without sacrificing maintainability or reliability.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and modern frontend architecture.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, system design, and distributed systems.
- Experience building and maintaining design systems, reusable platforms, and shared engineering capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD, and software quality practices.
- Experience with AI-assisted software development tools and workflows.
- Understanding of specification-driven development methodologies.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
- Ability to influence technical direction across multiple teams and initiatives.
- Preferred: experience contributing to internal platforms or developer productivity tooling.
- Preferred: experience integrating AI capabilities into engineering workflows or products.
- Preferred: experience working in scalable, multi-team frontend ecosystems.
