Responsibilities
- Define enterprise reference architectures and approved patterns for foundation-model, RAG, conversational, document-intelligence, multimodal, and agentic applications.
- Design bounded agentic workflows with planning, tool use, memory, approvals, retries, exception handling, and least-privilege access.
- Establish evaluation frameworks, representative test sets, release gates, regression testing, red-team evidence, and post-deployment monitoring.
- Integrate Generative AI experiences with engineering applications, APIs, workflow systems, data platforms, documents, and enterprise services.
- Define standards for human review, structured outputs, source evidence, validation, write-back, and exception handling.
- Mentor AI architects, AI engineers, data scientists, and product teams, and lead architecture reviews, evaluation clinics, and technical workshops.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or a related technical field is required; an advanced degree is strongly preferred.
- Significant hands-on experience architecting and deploying production generative AI, RAG, conversational, or agentic systems is required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of foundation models, embeddings, retrieval, reranking, prompt and context engineering, structured generation, tool use, and model evaluation.
- Experience with orchestration and application frameworks such as LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, n8n, or equivalent.
- Experience integrating AI applications with enterprise APIs, identity, data platforms, document repositories, workflow systems, and observability services.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with evaluation pipelines, GenAI security risks, enterprise standards, mentoring, regulated knowledge workflows, enterprise model platforms, vector and hybrid search, knowledge graphs, document parsing, multimodal models, fine-tuning, adapters, synthetic-data generation, agent evaluation, runtime tracing, policy enforcement, Responsible AI, model risk management, cybersecurity threat modeling, and audit evidence.
