Responsibilities
- Contribute code and component feedback to the Anvil design system.
- Partner with design and engineering teams to evolve shared processes, tooling, and design-system assets.
- Build tools, automations, testing processes, build and release improvements, documentation, and development environments.
- Develop infrastructure and tooling that helps designers and engineers use design-system assets and guidelines with AI tools.
- Document engineering standards, patterns, component structures, and API structures.
- Champion accessibility, scalable solutions, repository integrity, and security.
- Drive company-wide design-system adoption through communication and monitoring adoption metrics.
Requirements
- Experience building production-level web application UI with React and modern build tools.
- Experience with AI code-generation tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
- Understanding of AI concepts including LLMs, MCP, skills, and tools.
- Experience building complex libraries used by multiple teams.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Vanilla Extract, Sass, and frontend systems thinking.
- Strong communication, attentive listening, ownership, prioritization, and ability to communicate design trade-offs.
