Base Salary
$78k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the QA strategy, comprehensive test plan, test scope, and risk-based coverage across project workstreams.
- Configure and maintain Storybook and Chromatic for component testing and visual regression testing.
- Set up and troubleshoot automated testing pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
- Oversee component, functional, regression, cross-browser, accessibility, and integration testing across desktop, mobile, and tablet experiences.
- Lead and mentor four client QA resources and coordinate testing activities with development and client stakeholders.
- Establish defect logging, triage, prioritization, retesting, and closure processes.
- Communicate quality metrics, defect trends, blockers, and bug summaries to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Plan initial testing coverage for the home page, header, footer, navigation, and one PDP or PLP page, followed by phased expansion.
Requirements
- 7+ years of QA or Quality Assurance Engineering experience.
- 2+ years of test automation or automation engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience with Chromatic, Percy, or similar visual regression testing tools.
- Production experience setting up, configuring, or maintaining Storybook.
- Experience testing to WCAG 2.2 or 2.1 AA standards and familiarity with axe-core, Lighthouse, or manual audit techniques.
- Comfort reading and debugging GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent pipeline configurations.
- Experience mentoring or managing 5-10 team members, or demonstrated readiness to lead.
- Experience testing design systems, component libraries, or isolated UI elements.
- Understanding of front-end/backend contracts, API testing, and debugging integration failures.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Agency or client-services experience is preferred.
- Experience with SCAPI or Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager testing or integrations, advanced accessibility audits, performance testing or monitoring, or distributed QA teams is preferred.
