Responsibilities

Develop and maintain ServiceNow applications across DHS platforms.
Gather requirements and collaborate with analysts, customers, technology groups, QA teams, and technical support.
Design, code, debug, document, test, and troubleshoot applications throughout the systems engineering life cycle.
Design user interfaces and database functionality using SQL Server or Oracle.
Develop and maintain automated deployment processes for SharePoint solutions across multiple environments.
Produce design specifications, document modifications, and maintain unit-testing results.
Investigate and resolve complex application and code issues.
Plan and assign work when acting in a lead role and potentially supervise subordinate software programmers.

Bachelor’s degree in an IT discipline.
At least eight years of combined experience in computer programming and analysis of complex information systems, applications, or operating system software.
At least five years of experience with ServiceNow programming or its programming environment.
U.S. citizenship is required for contract purposes.
Ability to successfully complete a government-issued background investigation and obtain a Public Trust.
Prior Public Trust or security clearance is preferred.
Strong analytical, critical-thinking, communication, collaboration, and client-facing skills.
Ability to translate ambiguous requirements into actionable plans and work effectively in a remote environment.
