Responsibilities
- Perform manual functional, regression, smoke, integration, exploratory, and release-validation testing across CORTO’s accounting products.
- Create and maintain test scenarios, test data, evidence, and clear defect reports for features, workflows, integrations, and fixes.
- Validate end-to-end user journeys across platforms, integrations, and data flows.
- Work with developers and product managers to assess requirements, acceptance criteria, technical changes, risks, and test coverage.
- Own assigned features through development, release, and post-release validation.
- Contribute to UI and API automation, identify manual scenarios suitable for automation, and investigate automated test and CI/CD failures.
- Use AI-assisted tools where appropriate for testing, investigation, automation, and documentation.
Requirements
- Commercial experience in software testing or quality engineering.
- Strong hands-on manual testing experience with web applications, APIs, backend systems, integrations, and/or data-driven products.
- Experience creating and executing functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory test scenarios.
- Ability to analyse requirements and product behaviour and determine risk-based testing coverage.
- Strong defect investigation and reporting skills, including evidence and reproduction steps.
- Some UI or API test automation experience, or a strong interest in developing automation skills.
- Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, or a programming or scripting language is beneficial.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, investigation, adaptability, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Experience with established UI/API automation frameworks, AI-enabled systems, non-functional requirements, or cloud platforms such as AWS is advantageous.
