Base Salary
$149k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop software solutions that improve operational efficiency and provide visibility into performance metrics.
- Develop AI-based automation to reduce errors, increase system availability, and accelerate operational velocity.
- Build orchestration tools and automation to improve system efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Design, develop, and test secure, scalable software while mentoring other engineers.
- Provide high-level support for Puppet and Oracle operational workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, architecture, support, and stakeholder teams to resolve dependencies and improve production operations.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Python, Go, and Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, Kubernetes, and Karpenter.
- Strong knowledge of database operations, preferably Oracle, and Postgres.
- Understanding of operating-system-level systems, including Linux internals, process management, memory management, and file systems.
- Proven experience with Puppet.
- At least 3 years of experience in a cloud-native enterprise environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Track record of delivering impactful features in complex, fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, mentoring, and technical leadership skills.
- Familiarity with the Elasticsearch/Kibana stack and REST API design is preferred.
