Responsibilities
- Execute automated Playwright and TypeScript tests for front-end, end-to-end, integration, and API scenarios.
- Evaluate manual test cases and automate high-value regression and functional tests.
- Maintain and enhance automation frameworks with reusable components, fixtures, and test data.
- Develop automated tests for Angular and .NET applications, including backend and API validation.
- Integrate and execute automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines and maintain test assets in source repositories.
- Investigate flaky tests, timing dependencies, environment configuration issues, and test data problems.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and troubleshoot application and automation issues with developers.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA team members to improve requirements and test coverage.
- Use Claude Code and OpenAI Codex to assist with automation development while validating generated code.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in test automation, software development, or SDET.
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript for web application test automation.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated test scripts and contributing to automation frameworks.
- Experience with UI, end-to-end, integration, and API testing.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs, HTTP, HTML, CSS selectors, browser behavior, and asynchronous execution.
- Familiarity with Git, source control, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for creating, validating, and maintaining test data.
- Ability to troubleshoot test failures, timing issues, environment problems, and test data issues.
- Experience using AI-assisted coding tools such as Claude Code or OpenAI Codex and validating their output.
- Good written and verbal communication and effective collaboration skills.
- Professional services experience is preferred; exposure to Angular, .NET, Azure DevOps, accessibility testing, visual regression testing, or performance testing is a plus.
