Responsibilities

Design and develop test automation frameworks for client or service layers.
Build and maintain test cases across mobile, web, and living-room devices.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and UX teams to embed quality early in the development lifecycle.
Own execution and reporting of automated test suites in CI/CD pipelines.
Debug and analyze automation failures and failures in production-like environments.
Identify opportunities to improve test efficiency and reliability.
Build or maintain test infrastructure and tools and support backend automation or microservices testing.

Strong programming fundamentals and test automation skills, including tools such as Appium, Espresso, XCUITest, and JavaScript-based frameworks.
Experience testing APIs, mobile or web applications, or services in a fast-paced product environment.
Familiarity with REST APIs, request/response structures, and basic debugging tools.
Exposure to version control, Linux commands, shell scripting, and Jenkins.
Experience with testing practices including mocking, assertions, and shift-left testing.
Familiarity with blue/green and canary deployment models and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
Understanding of app release cycles on Google Play or the App Store.
B.Tech, B.E., or M.Tech in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in software development or test automation.
