Base Salary

$94k - $159k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Write SDK guides, end-to-end tutorials, API references, and blog content for ArcGIS Maps SDKs.
  • Create documentation that helps developers build geospatial applications for desktop and mobile platforms.
  • Test new features to ensure workflows and endpoints are accurately documented across supported versions and products.
  • Triage and resolve customer-reported documentation issues.
  • Engage the developer community through blogs, videos, social media, conferences, and online forums.

Requirements

  • At least five years of hands-on experience with SDKs.
  • Competence with at least one Native Maps SDK programming language: Swift, Kotlin, Flutter, .NET, or Qt.
  • Ability to learn technical concepts quickly and explain complex APIs clearly and compellingly.
  • Experience with Git and ability to learn and use industry-standard content management tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field is required.
  • Technical writing or blog content experience is preferred.
  • A master’s degree in GIS, computer science, or a related field is preferred.
