Responsibilities
- Adopt and maintain a Terraform-backed EKS cluster for scalability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot Postgres performance and develop scaling plans.
- Identify and correct scaling issues using telemetry and traces.
- Maintain a >99.95% uptime track record.
- Support product engineering to enhance developer experience.
- Participate in on-call rotations with the engineering team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role.
- Experience with production Kubernetes clusters and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with complex AWS deployments and VPC structures.
- Significant experience with database technologies like Aurora Postgres, Mongo, or ClickHouse.
- Experience with queues and streams such as SQS, Kinesis, or Kafka.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills in a remote team.
