Salesforce Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect - Lifesciences

- Partner with strategic customers to assess Salesforce Industry Cloud implementations and recommend improvements to architecture, solution design, lifecycle management, reliability, and feature adoption.
- Serve as a Life Sciences Industry Cloud subject matter expert on architecture, technology strategy, product best practices, and thought leadership.
- Design secure, scalable, and high-performance Salesforce architectures for complex enterprise environments, including large data volumes and multi-tenant systems.
- Advise on enterprise application integration, data models, governance, APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and external systems.
- Identify design inefficiencies and capability gaps, recommend optimizations or product enhancements, and support customer transformation.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to technical, business, and executive audiences through presentations and visually compelling design documents.
- Lead stakeholder discussions, influence decisions, advocate for best practices, and collaborate with internal and external partners.
- Tailor Success Architect playbooks to customer needs and provide data-driven insights on customer success and industry trends.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience developing technology solutions.
- 5+ years of experience in software, system, or enterprise architecture with Life Sciences domain experience.
- Expertise in Salesforce products, platform capabilities, technical governance, and best practices.
- Experience with large-scale complex implementations involving SaaS, PaaS, multi-tenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise integration, process orchestration, master data management, AI, analytics, and security best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, governor limits, and efficient code execution.
- Experience designing data models, validation rules, data governance practices, data import/export processes, ETL integrations, and REST/SOAP API integrations.
- Experience with middleware such as MuleSoft and with OAuth, Platform Events, External Objects, Salesforce Connect, and event-driven architectures.
- Required experience with Salesforce OmniStudio components and software development and delivery processes.
- Required Salesforce Admin, Platform Developer I, and JavaScript Developer certifications.
- Highly desired Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect credentials, Platform App Builder, Salesforce Advanced Admin, and an Accredited Professional credential in an Industry Cloud specialization.
- Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder-alignment, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
