Responsibilities

  • Assess customer Industry Cloud implementations and provide recommendations on technical architecture, solution design, application lifecycle management, reliability, and feature adoption.
  • Serve as a life sciences Industry Cloud subject matter expert providing architecture, technology strategy, thought leadership, and product guidance.
  • Design scalable, secure, high-performance Salesforce architectures, including large-data-volume considerations, security configurations, data models, and integrations.
  • Identify capability gaps and design inefficiencies, recommend product enhancements or custom solutions, and support customer transformation and adoption.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to technical teams, business stakeholders, and executive leadership through presentations and design documents.
  • Lead stakeholder discussions, influence decision-making, advocate for best practices, and collaborate with internal and external partners.
  • Assess architecture environments and requirements to implement software development and delivery management solutions.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience developing technology solutions.
  • 5+ years of experience in software, system, or enterprise architecture with experience in the life sciences domain.
  • Expertise in Salesforce products, platform capabilities, technical governance, and best practices.
  • Experience with large-scale, complex SaaS and PaaS implementations, multi-tenancy, and multi-tiered infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise application integration, process orchestration, master data management, AI, analytics, and security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, JavaScript, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, governor limits, data models, validation rules, data governance, ETL tools, REST and SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, OAuth, Platform Events, External Objects, Salesforce Connect, and OmniStudio.
  • Ability to assess business objectives, propose solution options, align stakeholders, present complex concepts, and create clear design documents.
  • Required certifications: Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I, and JavaScript Developer.
  • Highly desired certifications include Application Architect, System Architect, Platform App Builder, Salesforce Advanced Administrator, and an Accredited Professional credential in an Industry Cloud specialization.
