Base Salary

$144k - $194k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and operate globally distributed DNS resolution software for secure, reliable, millisecond-scale name resolution.
  • Build features across the control plane, data plane, API surfaces, and integrations with AGA, EC2 Networking, DNS Firewall, and Route 53 core systems.
  • Drive system architecture and software engineering best practices for a quality product.
  • Prototype ideas, instrument code and metrics, implement features, respond to customer feedback, and operate software in production.
  • Help coach and develop junior engineers while collaborating with software, hardware, networking, security, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
