Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation of DevOps processes, tools, and methodologies across the software development life cycle.
- Build and enhance continuous integration and deployment pipelines to reduce the time from commit to production.
- Create automated processes and maintain scalable, stable, and deployable operating environments.
- Bridge software development, engineering, and management needs while serving as a liaison between development and operations teams.
- Monitor and optimize application performance to improve customer responsiveness.
- Maintain expert knowledge of development processes, programming languages, and evolving technologies.
- Mentor others and exercise independent judgment in significant matters.
- Work regular, punctual schedules including nights, weekends, and variable schedules as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or a combination of coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience.
- 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
- Expertise with Kubernetes, including EKS and AKS.
- Expertise with GitHub Actions and experience with Jenkins, Concourse, or TeamCity.
- Strong experience implementing and maintaining Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Proficiency in Python, Ruby, or Groovy scripting for automation.
- Knowledge of Docker, artifact repositories such as Artifactory, Ansible, ArgoCD, and Linux and Windows systems is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and support variable schedules including nights and weekends.
