Responsibilities
- Implement and support improvements that enhance software quality, efficiency, and delivery speed.
- Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling.
- Manage containerisation and orchestration using Kubernetes and Helm.
- Build and maintain infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
- Write automation scripts in Python and support Java and Maven build processes.
- Monitor systems to support reliability and performance.
- Translate business requirements into technical implementations and facilitate business knowledge.
- Manage, negotiate with, and influence stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery.
- Define and promote automation, proactive monitoring, continuous improvement, and DevOps best practices.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Strong knowledge of AWS and CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Practical experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm.
- Experience with Python, Java, and Maven.
- Experience with cloud computing, emerging technologies, databases, architecture, and integration.
- Experience with Jenkins, Liquibase, GitOps principles, and monitoring tools.
- Willingness to travel.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to attain UK Security Clearance.
