Responsibilities

  • Manage a mature Azure infrastructure spanning more than 300 subscriptions.
  • Design, implement, and manage Azure server infrastructure, Management Groups, virtual machines, networking, and security solutions.
  • Implement and maintain Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Key Vault, Managed Identities, vulnerability remediation, and platform hardening.
  • Automate provisioning, support, and configuration using ARM/Bicep templates, Terraform, PowerShell, and Azure CLI.
  • Enforce Landing Zones, Azure Policy, RBAC, tagging, subscription management, governance, and compliance controls.
  • Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and availability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cost Management.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized workloads, PaaS, and App services in collaboration with DevOps and application teams.
  • Resolve support tickets and troubleshoot infrastructure issues in a timely manner.
  • Document processes, procedures, and infrastructure and recommend platform improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong Azure or related cloud provider experience and strong understanding of server IaaS management, including high availability, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Knowledge of Windows Server security baselines and configuration management.
  • Production experience with Terraform and familiarity with other Infrastructure as Code tools such as Bicep and ARM templates.
  • Understanding of CI/CD tools and concepts, including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with PowerShell, Bicep, or Python scripting.
  • Experience with GitHub Enterprise, Azure Arc, OSConfig, and vulnerability management.
  • Basic understanding of AI/ML operational concepts, model lifecycle management, and related cloud infrastructure requirements.
  • Experience working within DevOps and Agile delivery models.
  • Azure certifications or comparable knowledge, such as AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-305.
  • Ability to influence technical direction across distributed teams and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, governance, security, reliability, and continuous-improvement capabilities.
