Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, technology, and customer-facing teams to plan, build, and support customer-focused software.
- Work across the product lifecycle from code commit through production operation using a You Build It, You Run It mindset.
- Support production systems through monitoring, observability, and stability improvements, including use of Datadog.
- Contribute to engineering culture, communities, product decision-making, and iterative improvements driven by data and feedback.
- Question existing approaches and prioritize work that creates high value and impact for users.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of modern web applications and experience building TypeScript/JavaScript applications.
- Experience using NoSQL databases and Python.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and experience with AWS serverless services and/or GCP.
- Experience with test automation, production application support, and observability practices such as RUM and tracing.
- Experience working in collaborative environments with strong engineering practices and a focus on customer value and continuous improvement.
- Willingness to work across AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud environments.
