Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver scalable, maintainable, and high-performance software solutions.
- Build modular Java microservices integrating with liquidity platforms and vendor stacks such as iGTB/LMS.
- Develop and manage deployment pipelines, automated testing, dependency and container scanning, and zero-downtime deployments.
- Implement Kafka/MQ messaging patterns, idempotency, back-pressure, event-driven designs, and resilient services.
- Apply secure coding, unit testing, code review, risk management, and control-strengthening practices.
- Tune SQL/NoSQL queries and support high-volume treasury and transaction workloads.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, engineers, stakeholders, and scaled Agile delivery teams.
- Contribute to technical communities, knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and engineering decision-making.
Requirements
- Expertise in Java 11+, Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and contract-first APIs.
- Strong knowledge of collections, concurrency, memory management, resilience patterns, circuit breakers, retries, and secure coding.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab pipelines, artifact versioning, automated unit and integration testing, dependency and container scanning, and deployment to on-premises and container platforms.
- Experience with Kafka/MQ patterns, idempotency, back-pressure, event-driven architectures, SQL/NoSQL fundamentals, and query tuning.
- Ability to collaborate across functions, represent engineering in PI and iteration ceremonies, and influence technical decisions.
- Performance profiling and capacity planning experience for high-volume treasury or transaction workloads is desirable.
- Practical exposure to ML-assisted code quality, test generation, static analysis, or analytics hooks for anomaly detection is desirable.
