Responsibilities
- Drive the adoption of Fin by helping prospects unlock the power of Intercom’s AI capabilities.
- Embed deeply with strategic customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements.
- Work hands-on with customers' technical teams as a technical expert and trusted advisor.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Success, and Product teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Contribute to and evolve the Forward Deployed Engineering function by codifying best practices.
Requirements
- Experience building SaaS products, preferably as a founder or early engineer at a startup.
- Interest in AI/ML with the ability to understand novel problems and architectures.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to navigate organizational boundaries.
- Deep knowledge of a high-level programming language such as JavaScript, Python, or Ruby.
- Ability to prototype and ship software quickly while maintaining quality.
- Proficient in using and writing REST APIs for effective system integration.
- Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Willingness to travel and work on-site with customers.
