Base Salary
$125k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build software for critical flight and safety processes on microcontrollers.
- Improve the reliability of the flight software system through collaboration with hardware and systems engineers.
- Analyze avionics software performance during flight to ensure maintainability and optimization.
- Develop metrics and troubleshooting capabilities for large-scale field deployment.
- Create data collection and testing tools for new sensors and microcontroller platforms.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering skills with proficiency in C++, Rust, or Python.
- Curiosity and willingness to work in various embedded environments.
- Experience in building and maintaining real-world deployed embedded systems.
- Systems mindset with strong debugging intuition.
- Fluency in implementing peripheral drivers based on electrical schematics.
