Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed, full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Deliver cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers and technical partners.
- Provide technical leadership across teams, including architecture, platform roadmaps, shared-services strategy, and technology standards.
- Mentor engineers, support professional development, and lead cross-functional engineering initiatives.
- Establish coding standards, design patterns, observability practices, and reliability practices at scale.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and database technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred: master’s degree, 9+ years coding with multiple listed languages, and 5+ years with open-source frameworks and front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks.
- Preferred: experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, and cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience mentoring senior engineers, leading architecture reviews, influencing technical strategy, implementing observability and reliability practices, and leading large-scale technical initiatives.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, IDE copilots, and interactive AI productivity tooling is preferred.
