Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build core Common Services Platform components and solutions for scalable, secure, resilient cloud-native deployments.
- Partner with Product Management on requirements, effort estimation, sprint planning, and quarterly planning.
- Collaborate across teams on end-to-end functionality, integrations, and infrastructure alignment.
- Develop proofs of concept and prototypes to validate technical approaches and performance.
- Influence system design and guide implementation for high-quality, timely delivery at scale.
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews, best-practice sharing, and career support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree plus 7 years of related experience, or a master’s degree plus 4 years, or a PhD plus 1 year designing, developing, and deploying enterprise software in production environments.
- At least 5 years developing, deploying, and managing large-scale cloud-native web applications and microservices using Go, Terraform, and serverless technologies including AWS Lambda, AppSync, and ECS/EKS.
- At least 3 years building event-driven systems with Kafka, SQS, SNS, or similar messaging and streaming platforms.
- Experience building and integrating AI/ML solutions into software workflows.
- Preferred experience with graph algorithms and hierarchical or recursive data structures in production systems.
- Preferred experience with layered Handler-Service-Repository architectures and ORM frameworks such as GORM.
- Ability to translate difficult problems into solutions and communicate clearly across cross-functional and distributed teams.
