Responsibilities
- Deploy, operate, and maintain security platforms and tools across on-premises and cloud environments.
- Provide security configuration and operational guidance to business units, technology teams, and stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze security tools, threat activity, anomalies, and potential threats in partnership with Cyber Defense teams.
- Evaluate security capabilities and tools against business requirements, industry standards, and cybersecurity best practices.
- Engineer, implement, and manage technical security solutions across complex enterprise environments.
- Maintain technical documentation covering configurations, integrations, and logical interdependencies.
- Build cross-functional partnerships and translate security data and incidents into actionable insights and business impacts.
- Support cybersecurity awareness, escalation of security events, operational discipline, and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant information security experience; 5 or more years is preferred.
- Experience in security intelligence, vulnerability management, incident response, or related cybersecurity disciplines.
- Experience with log aggregation, data ingestion, and security telemetry platforms; hands-on Cribl experience is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of endpoint, network, infrastructure, cloud security, security architecture, and network traffic analysis.
- Experience engineering, implementing, and managing technical security solutions in complex enterprise environments.
- Experience using Python or PowerShell to automate security workflows, analysis, integrations, or operational processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, OSCP, CEH, AZ-500, or SANS.
