Responsibilities
- Assist in coding and debugging .NET-based web, mobile, and enterprise applications under supervision.
- Support development activities using C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, APIs, and related Microsoft technologies.
- Participate in software development lifecycle activities including requirements, design support, development, testing, deployment, and post-implementation support.
- Help retrieve, validate, organize, and work with basic datasets and SQL queries.
- Prepare test cases, perform unit or functional testing, document results, and address QA or UAT issues.
- Document code changes, technical notes, troubleshooting steps, test results, and deployment information.
- Follow coding standards, secure development practices, version-control processes, and documentation guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members, attend code walkthroughs, participate in discussions, and support ongoing projects.
Requirements
- Higher NITEC, Diploma, or Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or a related program.
- No experience is required because on-the-job training will be provided; prior experience is a bonus.
- Basic programming knowledge and exposure to object-oriented programming concepts.
- Familiarity with C#, .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or similar technologies is preferred.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and simple SQL queries is preferred.
- Exposure to Visual Studio, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or similar development and version-control tools is helpful but not mandatory.
- Academic, internship, or personal project experience involving web applications, APIs, mobile applications, databases, dashboards, or enterprise systems is advantageous.
- Willingness to learn, curiosity, basic problem-solving ability, attention to detail, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Exposure to OutSystems, Power Apps, or basic cloud concepts is beneficial.
