Responsibilities
- Build ingestion and change-data-capture pipelines, transformations, scheduling, backfills, and idempotent reprocessing over operational data.
- Design relational and dimensional schemas, governed metrics, materializations, incremental rollups, partitioning, indexing, data-quality checks, lineage, and tests.
- Implement secure multi-tenant access, row and column controls, cross-tenant aggregates, query and metrics APIs, MCP access, embeddable feeds, and delivery to Microsoft Teams and Slack.
- Build reporting definitions, board-packet generation, self-service query interfaces, semantic retrieval interfaces, and LLM evaluation harnesses.
- Develop insight-detection jobs and typed, audited data contracts consumed by HOAi agents.
- Own systems end to end from build through deployment and operation while collaborating with internal engineering and product customers.
Requirements
- Experience building data pipelines or aggregation layers over messy operational data and understanding analytical query execution.
- Experience with relational and dimensional data modeling and a product-oriented approach to governed metrics.
- Daily use of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or similar.
- Ability to choose pragmatic tools, work through ambiguity, and take systems end to end.
- Senior-level candidates should additionally have built and operated trusted data platforms, defined semantic-layer or metric-governance architecture, shipped or evaluated grounded LLM systems, and raised standards for testing, documentation, and mentoring.
- Nice-to-have experience includes MetricFlow, LookML, Cube, dbt, modern warehouses or lakehouses, event streaming, orchestration tools, multi-tenant analytics, cross-customer benchmarking, or property management, HOA, or real estate technology.
