Base Salary
$77k - $151k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze functional and technical requirements to define test strategies.
- Design detailed test cases, scenarios, and automation strategies for web applications.
- Develop scalable and reusable automation scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java, TestNG, and JUnit.
- Execute automated and manual test cases across QA, STG, and other environments and validate results.
- Identify, log, and track defects and participate in defect triage discussions.
- Integrate automation scripts into Jenkins CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
- Maintain test documentation and reports while collaborating in an onshore-offshore delivery model.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on QA testing and automation.
- Expertise in web UI testing and automation using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, or similar frameworks.
- Strong Java programming proficiency.
- Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Maven, and ANT.
- Experience with Charles, Fiddler, JIRA, and QMetry.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional Agile teams.
- Preferred experience testing and automating POS systems or applications.
- Preferred knowledge of mobile testing and automation techniques.
- Preferred experience with API testing and automation using Rest Assured, ReadyAPI, or similar tools.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and exposure to end-to-end quality engineering and CI/CD-driven automation are preferred or advantageous.
