Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable backend services with ASP.NET Core Web API and .NET Framework.
- Implement and optimize PostgreSQL and SQL schemas, queries, indexing, and transaction processing.
- Configure and maintain Kafka-based event-driven architectures and messaging pipelines.
- Build responsive React user interfaces with accessibility and cross-browser usability in mind.
- Use Python for automation, data processing, and utility scripting.
- Deploy, monitor, and optimize applications using Azure cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements, estimate effort, and develop technical solutions.
- Apply secure coding practices, conduct code reviews, and perform unit testing.
- Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
- Improve build automation, test coverage, continuous integration, delivery, and release practices.
- Investigate production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
- Document technical designs, APIs, and operational procedures.
- Contribute to optimization initiatives for cards and payments capabilities.
Requirements
- Seven to eleven years of software engineering experience delivering complex enterprise applications.
- Strong proficiency with ASP.NET Core Web API and .NET Framework.
- Advanced SQL and PostgreSQL skills, including query optimization, indexing, and transaction management.
- Hands-on Kafka experience with publish-subscribe patterns, stream processing, and microservice integration.
- Experience building modular React front-end components.
- Practical Python experience for automation, data transformation, and utility scripting.
- Working knowledge of Azure services, including application services, storage, and monitoring tools.
- Cards and payments domain knowledge, including transaction flows, authorization, settlement, and compliance, is preferred.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaborative delivery practices.
- Experience with testing frameworks, performance tuning, and observability practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate certification is preferred; PostgreSQL- or Kafka-related credentials are optional.
