Responsibilities
- Architect the overall solution design for warehouse management systems.
- Deliver features and customizations within the current WMS and contribute to the next-generation WMS.
- Write high-quality code, implement technical improvements, and maintain strong quality standards.
- Develop integration solutions connecting the WMS with external services.
- Implement software development practices including automated testing and continuous delivery.
- Maintain the WMS and support smooth operations for distribution centers.
- Identify improvement opportunities with operations and technology teams and design new features.
- Translate business requirements into technical design documents.
- Debug and troubleshoot WMS solutions and production issues with WMS administrators.
- Scope and plan projects and collaborate with frontend and backend developers on implementation.
- Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of C# and .NET, Ruby on Rails and React, or comparable modern technologies, with experience building frontend experiences and backend services.
- Expertise configuring SQL database queries and stored procedures.
- Experience with object-oriented programming.
- Experience with integration technologies such as REST APIs and messaging queues.
- Experience writing automated tests and understanding their role in safe, continuous delivery.
- Ability to apply sound design principles and clean code practices.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, independence, and attention to detail.
- Willingness to use modern development tools, including AI-assisted tooling, and adapt workflows.
- Openness to feedback and contribution to a learning and mentorship culture.
