Responsibilities
- Partner with business teams to understand workflows, identify bottlenecks, and find opportunities for automation.
- Translate ambiguous problems into priorities, measurable success criteria, and practical solutions.
- Build and deploy applications, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
- Connect systems and data, test solutions, launch them to users, and iterate based on real-world usage.
- Drive adoption and measure whether solutions deliver intended outcomes.
- Turn successful solutions into reusable capabilities in partnership with platform and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience building and delivering software.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying problems, shipping solutions to production, and achieving useful outcomes.
- Strong product and business judgment, including the ability to prioritize worthwhile problems and make sensible tradeoffs.
- Practical engineering skills across applications, APIs, databases, and integrations, with sound architecture judgment in unfamiliar systems.
- Experience using AI coding tools and the ability to explain, debug, test, and maintain generated code.
- Comfort working with LLMs and AI-powered workflows, including evaluating when simpler automation is preferable.
- Strong ownership, urgency, communication, and collaboration skills with technical and nontechnical users.
- Experience may include software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, founding a company, or hands-on technical consulting.
