Responsibilities
- Work with business teams to understand workflows, identify bottlenecks, and find opportunities for automation.
- Translate ambiguous problems into priorities, measurable goals, and useful initial solutions.
- Build and deploy applications, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
- Connect systems and data, test solutions, deploy them to users, and iterate based on usage.
- Drive adoption, measure outcomes, and work with users to embed solutions into their workflows.
- Convert successful solutions into reusable tools and capabilities in partnership with platform and engineering teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience building and delivering software.
- Demonstrated initiative in identifying problems, building solutions, deploying them to production, and achieving useful outcomes.
- Strong product and business judgment with the ability to prioritize worthwhile problems and make tradeoffs.
- Practical engineering experience across applications, APIs, databases, and integrations, including architecture work in unfamiliar systems.
- Experience using AI coding tools and the ability to explain, debug, test, and maintain generated code.
- Comfort working with LLMs and AI-powered workflows, including evaluating when simpler automation is preferable.
- Ability to work through technical and organizational blockers while respecting security and access requirements.
- Clear communication skills with technical and nontechnical teams and ownership of adoption as well as implementation.
