Responsibilities
- Frame business problems and design machine learning solutions.
- Research, build, prototype, and implement machine learning systems, models, algorithms, and tools.
- Analyze data, select datasets, design experiments, monitor metrics, and perform statistical analysis to evaluate business impact.
- Automate, architect, and orchestrate machine learning processes and pipelines.
- Monitor, optimize, and maintain machine learning solutions in production.
- Improve machine learning libraries, model development frameworks, system architectures, and workflows.
- Develop internal tools and libraries for model governance across the machine learning development lifecycle.
- Enforce test-driven development and advocate engineering best practices for machine learning systems.
- Collaborate with MLOps Engineers and Data Scientists.
Requirements
- Strong mathematical, statistical, or actuarial background.
- Good programming knowledge and software engineering skills.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive analytics, and statistical modeling.
- Experience developing and deploying machine learning models in production.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency with machine learning libraries and frameworks such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, and LightGBM.
- Experience building machine learning systems and workflows is preferred.
- Familiarity with MLOps tools such as DVC, MLflow, Metaflow, Seldon, and BentoML is preferred.
- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Solid communication and collaboration skills.
