Responsibilities
- Provide architectural vision and strategy for GFG’s internal tools suite.
- Give detailed technical guidance to the team and help deliver products on time.
- Develop and maintain clean, well-tested code in an agile environment.
- Work on distributed systems at scale and high-traffic workloads.
- Build and maintain APIs within a microservices architecture.
- Investigate technologies that improve site reliability, developer experience, and application performance.
- Collaborate with software engineers and stakeholders to build and maintain products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience, preferably in backend or full-stack development.
- Strong experience with distributed systems, client-server architecture, and high-traffic applications.
- Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language such as Java, Golang, Python, or PHP.
- Hands-on experience designing and building RESTful APIs and working with microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and automated testing.
- Understanding of software development practices for code quality, maintainability, and scalability.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Preferred qualifications include Java 17+, Spring Boot, JVM-based applications, JVM performance profiling, monitoring and tuning, ReactJS, TypeScript, React Hooks, frontend performance optimization, state management, component testing, and experience in high-traffic product environments.
