Responsibilities
- Install, upgrade, and configure off-the-shelf vendor products developed in UNIX, Java, Oracle, and AIX environments.
- Provide application support for compliance applications, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolution of critical SLA-driven issues.
- Coordinate with vendors, business teams, L1 support, and other technology teams to track and close application issues.
- Lead and manage projects across the system SDLC to meet functional goals, budget constraints, and delivery timelines.
- Analyze and verify business requirements, issue specifications, application flows, and project deliverables.
- Track BAU issues in Jira and manage incident tickets.
- Support vulnerability remediation across systems.
- Research new methodologies and technologies and provide subject matter expertise to the team.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
- 3–8 years of software development experience implementing technologies or vendor platforms for business needs.
- At least 3 years of experience developing, supporting, and maintaining applications deployed in UNIX environments.
- Proficiency in development, UNIX shell scripting, and PL/SQL.
- Hands-on experience with HP QC, UNIX, AIX, MQ, Tidal or Autosys, Shell scripting, Jira, and ServiceNow.
- Strong communication, organization, prioritization, adaptability, and independent task-management skills.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience in banking, financial services, or payments applications.
- Preferred: experience with CGI HotScan or another sanctions-screening system, including wire scanning, list management, alert review, rule definition, system tuning, and scaling.
