Responsibilities
- Contribute to real-world C development projects for TuxCare’s Endless Lifecycle Support products.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable C code.
- Collaborate with experienced developers and participate in code reviews.
- Review and validate patches, including patches for Linux systems and software.
- Learn and write effective unit tests to support software quality.
- Work with backend development and system programming tasks.
- Use AI-assisted development workflows across activities such as CVE research, backporting, and code review.
Requirements
- Some C programming and debugging skills.
- Experience using Git for development and patch and branch management.
- Experience with GNU/Linux, command-line tools, and shell scripting.
- Basic experience building the Linux kernel and troubleshooting related issues.
- English proficiency at B1 level or above.
- Final-year student or entry-level engineer with strong fundamentals.
- Ability to read and reason about C and systems code.
- Solid knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Comfort using AI coding assistants and identifying incorrect output.
- Awareness of AI-assisted development tools and models is preferred.
