Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve high-scale applications across the full engineering stack.
- Develop cloud-native microservices using Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- Apply serverless computing, microservices architecture, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Integrate systems with internal systems, Data Fabric, and CSA Toolset.
- Participate in technology roadmaps, architecture discussions, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other team activities.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues affecting networks, service operations, and quality.
- Research and develop software applications that extend and improve Equifax solutions.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while collaborating on scalability and data-access issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience.
- At least 5 years of experience writing, debugging, and troubleshooting code with Java, SpringBoot, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 5 years of experience with cloud technologies such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
- At least 5 years of experience designing and developing microservices with Java, SpringBoot, GCP SDKs, and GKE/Kubernetes.
- At least 5 years of experience deploying and releasing software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines, Helm Charts, and Terraform, with an understanding of infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include Dataflow, Apache Beam, Bigtable, BigQuery, PubSub, GCS, Composer/Airflow, Angular, Bootstrap, J2EE, SOA, SVN, Git, GitHub, Maven, Gradle, SQL Server, MySQL, JIRA, Confluence, JDK, JUnit, Selenium, LoadRunner, and SoapUI.
