Base Salary

$145k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

Own closed-loop spacecraft simulation platforms from design through deployment.
Develop scheduling, data routing, diagnostics, configuration, and Monte Carlo simulation capabilities.
Develop and maintain simulation models, emulators, and interfaces with units under test.
Define test requirements and procedures with cross-functional engineering teams and execute simulation tests.
Analyze test data, identify trends, and improve models and test results.
Build automation tools, data-analysis workflows, and test-reporting capabilities.
Debug closed-loop interactions between units under test and simulation environments.
Contribute to the technical architecture and roadmap for simulation platforms.

U.S. Person status is required to access export-controlled data.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field is required; a master's degree is a plus.
At least 3 years of experience developing closed-loop simulation tools such as 6DOF, SITL, PITL, or HITL.
Strong proficiency in C, C++, Rust, or Python.
Experience operating and developing in Linux environments.
Familiarity with testing frameworks, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and agile software development practices.
Experience designing, implementing, and validating physics-based simulation models for closed-loop systems.
Experience integrating virtual sensors, actuators, and test equipment through serial, network, and conventional I/O interfaces.
Experience with data analysis, automation tools, and pipeline development.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, independent ownership, and execution skills.
Preferred experience includes aerospace or satellite systems, satellite subsystems, real-time or HPC systems, complex build systems, virtual test environments, embedded Linux, and real-time operating systems.
