Responsibilities
- Build software-hardware interface tools for R&D testing and engineering analysis.
- Develop test automation frameworks for lab equipment and prototype hardware.
- Create software interfaces for collecting and processing engineering test data.
- Build internal tools for experiment setup, execution, and data review.
- Develop Python-based workflows for data acquisition and automated reporting.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams to understand and address experimental needs.
- Support verification and validation activities to improve data quality and reporting.
- Debug software and hardware issues in lab environments.
- Maintain clear documentation for software tools and operating procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field.
- 4+ years of experience in software development for engineering or R&D environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python and C++.
- Experience with hardware integration and test automation.
- Familiarity with software engineering fundamentals like version control and testing.
- Strong data analysis skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience in regulated or safety-critical engineering environments is preferred.
