Base Salary
$133k - $235k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end quality for Direct Revenue experiences spanning multiple teams, surfaces, and high-risk user journeys.
- Define and drive test strategies for unreleased features and premium experiences.
- Build and maintain high-signal automation for critical paths, including device and operating-system compatibility, accessibility, privacy, compliance, and localization.
- Diagnose defects, perform root cause analysis, document findings, triage cross-functionally, and champion bug resolution.
- Use AI in engineering workflows while applying human judgment and validation.
- Own release readiness and quality sign-off and participate in on-call rotations.
- Review code and test pull requests across platforms.
- Partner with adjacent and dependency teams to identify cross-team dependencies and quality risks.
Requirements
- Proficiency with object-oriented programming in Java, Kotlin, Swift, Objective-C, or a similar language.
- Experience with client or mobile test automation frameworks such as XCTest/XCUITest, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, or Espresso.
- Extensive experience defining, building, and maintaining test coverage for client or mobile applications across smartphones and tablets.
- Understanding of quality-related agile methodologies and experience applying them throughout the software development life cycle.
- Hands-on experience using AI in an engineering workflow with sound judgment about human validation.
- Experience with quality and engineering tools such as TestRail, GitHub, Jira, Chrome DevTools, Charles Proxy, and Postman.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical thinking, reporting, leadership, customer focus, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field such as computer science or equivalent practical work experience, plus three or more years of post-bachelor’s testing or software development experience; alternative qualifications include a relevant technical master’s degree with two or more years of post-graduate experience or a relevant PhD.
- Preferred experience includes working in distributed product teams, using Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud, and working with continuous integration and delivery systems.
