Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain reliable, reusable, maintainable automated test suites for web and mobile applications.
- Build mobile test automation with Appium for user journeys, functional scenarios, regression testing, and device-specific behaviors.
- Build web test automation with Playwright for application functionality, user workflows, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Create and execute manual and exploratory tests across functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end scenarios.
- Analyze test failures, investigate defects, review logs, and distinguish application issues from automation or environment failures.
- Identify edge cases, quality risks, and coverage gaps and recommend improvements to product reliability.
- Support API testing and validation, including response verification, data integrity, authentication, error handling, and negative scenarios.
- Collaborate with developers, product teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements, communicate results, and drive issues to resolution.
- Use AI-powered tools and techniques for test generation, automation development, code review, debugging, documentation, and testing optimization.
- Maintain documentation for test cases, automation scripts, defects, execution results, and quality risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Relevant hands-on QA engineering and software testing experience with a strong focus on test automation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Appium and Playwright.
- Experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing principles.
- Experience with manual and exploratory testing and with analyzing test results, troubleshooting failures, identifying root causes, and documenting defects.
- Familiarity with API testing, including validation of API responses, data integrity, and error handling.
- Basic understanding of version control systems, preferably Git, and experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and continuous-learning skills.
- Experience with AI tools and technologies supporting QA and software testing is beneficial.
- Nice-to-have experience includes Linux, Selenium WebDriver, Java, REST Assured, JMeter, LoadRunner, Cypress, Cursor, JavaScript, TypeScript, and .NET applications or frameworks.
