Base Salary
$200k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build agentic LLM pipelines powering AI features across the product.
- Build full-stack web applications and tooling using Python/FastAPI and TypeScript or React.
- Prompt-engineer and iterate on LLM prompts and models while evaluating accuracy, latency, and cost.
- Strengthen evaluation frameworks with curated datasets, evals, experiments, and regression identification.
- Improve production observability through accuracy signals and feedback loops.
- Contribute to architecture and technical direction.
- Partner with product teams to understand AI use cases and determine how to enable and support them.
- Advise when AI or LLM solutions are appropriate based on speed and ROI.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience in a startup, incubator, or fast-paced 0-to-1 environment with end-to-end feature ownership and self-directed work.
- Strong full-stack web application experience in Python.
- Production experience shipping reliable agentic LLM workflows using an orchestration framework such as LangGraph or LangChain.
- Experience evaluating and testing LLM workflows, including eval harnesses, golden datasets, regression detection, and observability.
- Familiarity with prompt engineering and the prompt iteration lifecycle.
- Fluency with AI-powered coding tools such as Cursor or Claude Code.
- Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to drive alignment independently.
- Must reside in the United States.
- Healthcare workflow or health-tech experience is preferred.
- Ruby on Rails experience is preferred.
- Experience evaluating emerging AI tools and driving their adoption on a team is preferred.
