Responsibilities
- Build and enhance Workwize’s product platform across Laravel back end and React front end.
- Make architectural decisions and create reusable APIs and components.
- Develop new product features and improve customer-facing product experiences.
- Mentor engineers and support their professional growth.
- Lead technical projects and coordinate teams of three or more engineers.
- Drive engineering initiatives affecting other teams or the wider organization.
- Explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least a bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- At least 8 years of experience with Laravel and React.
- Experience building applications with JavaScript or TypeScript, PHP, HTML5, CSS, and MySQL 8.
- Experience mentoring engineers, working with large development teams, and leading technical projects.
- Strong usability, user experience, UI, communication, presentation, analytical, troubleshooting, planning, and teamwork skills.
- Experience in product companies with multiple product and engineering teams and in startup or scaleup environments.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and DevOps tools is nice to have.
- Fluent business English and a proven record of driving cross-organizational engineering initiatives.
