Base Salary
$114k - $185k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, scalable software solutions and algorithms across multiple technical areas.
- Build and maintain automation and testing frameworks at scale, including failure triage, flaky test detection, rerun rules, quarantining workflows, contract testing, component validation, and canary testing.
- Create architecture and design artifacts and ensure software implementations meet design constraints.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, code review, test acceleration, troubleshooting, refactoring, documentation, and unit test creation while validating outputs.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reports, and use identified patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Apply software development lifecycle, automation, continuous delivery, resiliency, and secure coding practices.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of hands-on software development lifecycle experience.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining testing automation frameworks at scale.
- Advanced proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java.
- Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods and all aspects of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and establishing expectations for validating their correctness, performance, and security.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred qualifications include financial services technology experience, Golang or Rust experience, automated failure triage patterns, contract testing tools, component or service validation patterns, and reliable canary testing framework development.
