Responsibilities

Design, implement, and enforce software quality assurance standards and policies aligned with ITIL and industry best practices.
Design, deliver, and execute manual and automated test cases and test suites for supported systems.
Oversee defect management, software release validation, production release monitoring, and QA documentation.
Mentor and train department units on QA methodologies, testing design, defect management, testing tools, quality standards, documentation, and analytics.
Lead and coordinate QA services and serve as a designated lead worker for IT staff.
Generate quality metrics, analyze data and root causes, and recommend quality improvement strategies to leadership.
Remain current on information technology products, vendors, techniques, and procedures through training and professional development.

Four years of college coursework in computer science or a directly related field, or equivalent knowledge, skill, and mental development.
At least three years of professional experience in application services, management information systems, computer application development, or a related information technology field.
At least three years of experience designing and maintaining software QA processes, including test cases, test suites, defect lifecycles, release validation, and QA documentation.
At least three years of experience with data processing operations, relational databases, test frameworks, reporting tools, quality metrics, and performance analysis.
At least three years of experience with Salesforce, ServiceNow, or a similar SaaS platform, including test strategy, automation frameworks, test coverage, and enterprise QA coordination.
At least three years of experience applying SDLC and ITIL principles to QA governance, standards, policies, audits, and compliance.
Preferred experience includes serving as a lead worker, mentoring and training IT staff, using test analytics and metrics, and presenting technical information to varied audiences.
Ability to analyze operational or procedural problems, exercise sound judgment, build effective working relationships, coordinate cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly.
Ability to pass an agency background check, travel, work outside normal hours, serve on call, work overtime, and meet physical requirements for sedentary work.
